The intelligent community service center uses poster LED displays to enhance public communication convenience and participation. Its technical features are specifically designed for non-technical users and can maintain reliable performance in outdoor/indoor environments. Traditional bulletin boards have problems such as disorganized content, outdated information, and poor visibility, while the community-centered poster LED achieves a balance between user-friendliness and durability. A residential community in the Pongger Digital District of Singapore installed 8 outdoor 2-meter by 3-meter screens in the square and 4 indoor 40-inch devices in the community center during the period from 2024 to 2024 - all devices use a 3.0 millimeter pixel pitch (P3.0), 600 nits (outdoor)/400 nits (indoor) brightness, and outdoor devices have an IP65 protection level to withstand Singapore's tropical rainfall.
A web-based content management platform with drag-and-drop functionality enables volunteer staff to upload event flyers, garbage collection schedules, and emergency alerts without technical training. The scheduling tool can be pre-programmed and perform content switching based on priority - emergency alerts (such as flood warnings) will automatically overwrite regular content and trigger a red flashing border. The outdoor model is integrated with a solar panel system (200-watt solar panel + 100 ampere-hour battery), enabling off-grid operation in case of power outages. The indoor devices support content upload via the USB-C interface, providing services for employees without internet connection. Interactive features include a resident submission platform: local residents upload photos of community activities through a mobile application, and approved content will be displayed in a carousel format in the gallery. For community managers, these poster-style LED displays are cost-effective, have low maintenance costs, and are an efficient communication center that integrates information dissemination and community interaction, transforming passive notifications into active community participation tools.
